Mil Piedras Sangiovese 2009

Mil Piedras Sangiovese 2009Score: 88

Province: MendozaMil Piedras Sangiovese 2009

Grapes: 100% Sangiovese

A delightfully light alternative to the usual Argentine grapes – and to cheaper Tuscan wines like Antinori’s Santa Cristina – this sangiovese has red currants and a touch of latex on the nose, then sweet red cherry jam in the mouth with a tiny bit of bitterness in the finish. Wonderful for a late summer evening.
