Province: MendozaSur de los Andes Infinito Red Blend 2006
Subregion: Lujan de Cuyo; Valle de Uco
Grapes: 60% Malbec, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet France, 10% Bonarda
Aging: 15 months in French oak
Concentrated and opaque, with a nose of winter spices and a touch of funk, this blend is ready for drinking now. It’s far from a fruit bomb, offering an experience closer to a fine Bordeaux. The flavors have become more vegetal with age, and the tannins are still present on the palate and in the clean finish. Some bottles may not be perfectly preserved, so a bit of caution is merited.
